Every time I sign in they say something "Is not right with my account" which brings me to believe that i should not have been charged the extra $35 for the yearly membership i didn’t sign up for. Their "appointment" policy is a joke. I went into an empty salon and was told there was a 15 to 20 minute wait due to appointments. The following day I was skipped twice because of appointments even thought they were both over 10 minutes late.

Planet Beach Elmwood is a marvelous salon. The staff is courteous and very friendly and will help you resolve any problems. The salon is in impeccable condition and the environment is very relaxing. If you are searching for a new tanning salon or want to change from another one, I suggest Planet Beach Elmwood. Overall great experience!
I moved out of state and was told when I called trying to cancel my account that I had to come in to sign something to be able to cancel and pay $50. I was told when I signed up that all I had to do to freeze or cancel was to call. They claim it's in the contract but it's not what they tell you and that's what has me irritated. I paid for months for something that I was never able to use because they didn't have my skin tone for the machines in stock. And when I lost my debit card and they couldn't bill me anymore (mind you I hadn't even been living in that state to use the service for 2 months) rather than call me to discuss it with me and get my new debit information they went around behind my back and somehow got it because randomly this month there was a charge from planet beach and I know I never spoke with anyone to give it to them directly.
Be careful this place is shady! Customer service is not their priority they do not care about your satisfaction.
Nice so far, the ladies are very nice and courteous,at the end you pay for a good service.
Horrible experience. Had to pay a $35 one time sign-up fee and then they wanted me to sign a year long contract with them to automatically withdrawal monthly dues. I declined, but still had to pay the extra $35. Was told that I could tan at any Planet Beach salon, but found out that was wrong when I tried tanning elsewhere. None of the beds have working fans or new bulbs. My first time tanning since October and I did not even get a light burn.
This place is horrible. They mislead you about the terms of the contract. They never once had the supplies necessary for me to spray tan in stock when I tried to go in (which is why I enrolled in the first place)
