4) One Major Concern--We saw no Security personnel.
Facility just like any other Movie Theater Megaplex -- huge parking lot / plenty of Theaters (20 here).
Thoughts regarding the theater facility--
The Dolby Theater is worth every penny of the ticket price. I would choose this over IMAX or 3D any day. You can feel the sound in your reclining seats. Also you can reserve your seats which always makes getting to the theater a little late easier to handle.
I love an AMC theatre. They always have ample parking, my favorite movie snacks, and plenty of studio seating for the most current movies. What I didn't like about my recent visit to AMC Elmwood was the gross neglect in cleaniless. The theatre I was in (a larger one of the 20) was not cleaned, there were snacks shoved under seats rather than being cleared out after previous movies, the arm rests were unclean and sticky, and restrooms far beyond unacceptable. One positive about my visit is that the staff was very courteous and friendly. Unfortunately, lack of cleanliness overshadows the great staff in this visit as I will NOT be returning back to this location in the near future.
1) It was understaffed.
Our daughter took time out of her schedule to treat my wife and I to a Movie. We enjoyed the Movie, The Last Jedi. We totally enjoyed our time with our thoughtful daughter.
2) It could have been cleaner.
We went to see the movie 9/11 tonight over there. It was a good movie. We were the only people there to see that movie. After that one was done we snuck in to see IT which just started and that movie was packed. That movie was pretty good also. The theatre emplyees were courteous. They had a line to wait in at concessions but we didn't have to wait for too long. The theatre was clean.
3) Movies, even Matinees, cost too much. We would not have gone had not our wonderful daughter treated us.
It has been a while since I've been here. The Dolby theater was a refreshing change and a great addition! 10/10 a/v. The seats reclined and are very adjustable, the first time I did not quite see the extra adjustments. Also the floors behind the concession stand are disgusting as cleanliness is a concern.
